OVERVIEW

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIREMENTS

7+ years experience in branding/graphic design preferred, involving work in a team dynamic and communicating and interfacing directly with clients. You must have hands-on project management experience. We require exceptional communication skills, especially the ability to verbalize your creative rationales clearly and directly. OVERVIEW

The role of Senior Designer is responsible for conceptualization and design of graphic applications such as collateral material, environmental graphics, books and magazines, corporate identity, film titling and multimedia interfaces, from concept to completion. Designers applying should also be comfortable with taking the lead on project management and interfacing with clients when required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In collaboration with a team, develop creative programs and design concepts that meet the business objectives of the organization and that advance our brand strategy. Manage the day-to-day of multiple projects from concept through completion. Participate in the conception and design of projects as needed agency wide. Seek the support and coordination of outside resources (proofreaders, writers, etc.) as needed. Manage and coordinate print and production of finished work as required – ensure projects get delivered on time. Manage the day-to-day project and client relationship. Participate in weekly team meetings. Follow up with teams to ensure project needs are being met.

The ability to understand and assess a client’s business and communication needs, and meet them. A willingness to collaborate with people on the execution of projects. Proven program and project management skills. The leadership qualities and capacity to effectively collaborate with and manage teams. Excellent written and oral communication skills. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 5+ years of work experience in marketing, branding/internal communications.

OVERVIEW

We need a leadership-oriented professional with pharmaceutical experience to ensure the smooth production of campaigns and projects from a strategic point of view—from briefing designers and copywriters to managing budgets and executives. As the senior point of contact for our agency’s clients, this role coordinates the resources needed to service projects, builds strategic operational plans, and balances the expectations of clients with the execution of creative work. You will be expected to plan strategic campaigns, successfully developing business accounts creatively and financially. You will be expected to develop and drive the relationships with existing clients. About 50% of our clients are pharmaceutical/biotechnology companies, therefore, this individual needs to have worked in the healthcare space in order to effectively partner with these clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Take a lead role in building clients’ marketing and advertising strategies. Guide a team to provide the utmost level of client service. Liaise with clients at a senior level on a day-to-day basis. Proactively promote the expansion of business with existing clients. Use your skills to push clients—and the agency—both creatively and strategically. We’re looking for a Motion Designer/Editor who'll be responsible for helping create amazing motion pieces for clients like the examples on our website. Involvement is critical in all phases of the design process, including concept development, storyboarding, animation, graphic design, and complete video production. Works created span a variety of mediums and types including corporate sales and brand videos, web video and motion graphics elements, and HD video post-production. BS/BA degree in design preferred with a minimum of five years experience in a digital/production environment, or the equivalent combination of work experience and education.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Serious experience with Adobe After Effects and Premiere as well as the Adobe Creative Suite
  • A minimum of 4-5 years agency or, in-house or freelance experience

Strategy/Writer Intern* (Chicago)

Our award-winning brand design agency is looking for an aspiring writer and strategist to participate in our 12-week summer internship program, which teaches how to deliver exceptional results for clients.

OVERVIEW

We need someone who can create authentic and persuasive language that promotes unique benefits and attributes for our clients and their projects while maintaining their brand identity and marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will be able to develop copy and assist with creative concepts across various mediums, including brand, print sales and marketing material, advertising, direct mail/direct response, email marketing, websites, and more.

You’ll be working closely with other interns and staff members from both our creative and strategy teams, collaborating on a pro-bono project that will deliver at the end of the summer. Our goal is to help grow your ability to deliver clear, concise language on time, based on established dates and project plans. You’ll also get hands-on experience learning multiple clients’ style guides for writing, editing, and proofreading of materials. You’ll need to proofread and edit marketing materials for clarity, style consistency, spelling, and grammar. And we hope you experience it all with a smile and a willingness to kick ass for the team!

The project management internship will involve hands-on experience in day-to-day tactical management and strategy, managing client accounts, liaising among team members, coordinating with vendors, and managing budgets and schedules.

You’ll be working closely with other interns and staff members from both our creative and strategy teams, collaborating on a pro-bono project that will deliver at the end of the summer. You will grow your skills in serving as a vital link between client and agency to ensure client satisfaction, planning and executing client activities in an efficient and high-quality manner with a team. You will also learn how to keep client programs on track and ensure that deadlines are met by maintaining status reports, budget spreadsheets, and timelines.
