OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a Motion Designer/Editor who'll be responsible for helping create amazing motion pieces for clients like the examples on our website. Involvement is critical in all phases of the design process, including concept development, storyboarding, animation, graphic design, and complete video production. Works created span a variety of mediums and types including corporate sales and brand videos, web video and motion graphics elements, and HD video post-production. BS/BA degree in design preferred with a minimum of five years experience in a digital/production environment, or the equivalent combination of work experience and education.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Serious experience with Adobe After Effects and Premiere as well as the Adobe Creative Suite
  • A minimum of 4-5 years agency or, in-house or freelance experience

We're looking for a Copywriter (Chicago).

The Copywriter delivers authentic and persuasive language for our clients and their projects while maintaining brand standards. The individual plans and develops content and assists with articulating creative concepts across various media, including brand, print, sales and marketing materials; advertising; direct mail/direct response; email marketing; websites; and more.

OVERVIEW

The role collaborates closely with the Strategy team in assisting and documenting Discovery sessions, contributing to strategic presentations, and building messaging platforms. The role also works alongside with both the Account and Creative teams, maintaining an active presence in meetings and client conferences.  

The Copywriter is expected to handle multiple assignments at once, delivering clear, concise, on-brand language according to established dates and project plans. This individual must apply the style guides of  multiple clients for the purposes of writing, editing, and proofreading of materials. The role is also a resource that can proofread and edit colleagues’ materials for clarity, style consistency, spelling and grammar—even for material that does not originate in-house.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create authentic and persuasive language across a variety of media

  • Translate complex material into clear, concise, and reader-friendly text

  • Write both headlines and longer-form body content

  • Participate in client meetings and weigh in during the creative process, particularly in content-related matters

  • Present content in client meetings

  • Manage the editorial process of content-heavy projects, ensuring client feedback is incorporated fully and version control is maintained

  • Follow up with teams to ensure project needs are being met

We’re looking for a WordPress Developer (Chicago).

OVERVIEW

The Developer is responsible for development of graphic applications from concept to completion as it relates to all digital materials, including websites, landing pages, microsites, emails, and apps.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In collaboration with team, write code that meets the business objectives of our clients and advances their brand strategies

Participate in the development of digital projects as needed across the agency

Seek the support and coordination of outside resources as needed

Manage and coordinate the handoff of finished work to account team, ensuring projects are delivered on time

Follow up with team members and project leads to ensure daily deliverables are met

Understand project scopes and track hours appropriately

Proof and review work prior to internal reviews

Keep project files organized and archived in Drive according to Pivot naming and filing conventions

Work with Digital Designers and Developers for all projects

Continually strive to grow development skills and explore new technologies and educational opportunities to enrich yourself and the team

Share knowledge of relevant emerging technologies and trends with the broader team

Work closely with the account team as necessary (or independently) to drive projects forward

Take static designs or sketches and translate them into responsive and fully functioning digital experiences

Hold responsibility for development on all digital executions and theming

Hold responsibility for establishing and guiding websites’ architecture, ensuring high-performance and availability, while managing all technical aspects of the WordPress CMS

REQUIREMENTS

Programming skills include PHP, HTML, CSS, and JS and comprehensive knowledge of the WordPress CMS

Comprehensive knowledge and use of Git version control or equivalent version control

Experience with debugging tools like Devel, Xdebug, Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.

Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications from static layouts

Experience building responsive websites using the WordPress CMS, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery

Experience executing in a LAMP environment

Experience with HTML/CSS development and extensive client testing of HTML e-blasts within Litmus and browser

The role of Senior Designer is responsible for conceptualization and design of graphic applications such as collateral material, environmental graphics, books and magazines, corporate identity, film titling and multimedia interfaces, from concept to completion. Designers applying should also be comfortable with taking the lead on project management and interfacing with clients when required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In collaboration with a team, develop creative programs and design concepts that meet the business objectives of the organization and that advance our brand strategy. Manage the day-to-day of multiple projects from concept through completion. Participate in the conception and design of projects as needed agency wide. Seek the support and coordination of outside resources (proofreaders, writers, etc.) as needed. Manage and coordinate print and production of finished work as required – ensure projects get delivered on time. Manage the day-to-day project and client relationship. Participate in weekly team meetings. Follow up with teams to ensure project needs are being met.

REQUIREMENTS

3-5 years experience in branding/graphic design preferred, involving work in a team dynamic and communicating and interfacing directly with clients. You must have hands-on project management experience. We require exceptional communication skills, especially the ability to verbalize your creative rationales clearly and directly. Experience and knowledge in digital/web/motion design a plus.
