The Strategy Director  supports both strategic and content development efforts for the agency. The individual is responsible for taking a lead role Pivot’s discovery efforts, both facilitating and documenting sessions. The role collaborates with the Vice President Brand Strategy in authoring strategy presentations, and works within project teams to ensure that creative work aligns to the strategic imperatives and vision of our clients.

OVERVIEW

In conjunction with other members of the Strategy team, this individual delivers authentic and persuasive language for our clients and their projects while maintaining brand standards. The role plans and develops content and assists with articulating creative concepts across various media, including brand, print, sales and marketing materials; advertising; direct mail/direct response; email marketing; websites; and more.

The role is also responsible for the management, resource allocation, and mentoring of the Senior Writer and Writer positions. In addition, the individual works with the Digital Strategy Director to ensure all web and motion-related projects align with clients’ strategic goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the VP Brand Strategy in facilitating and documenting discovery sessions

Author and co-author strategic content for client presentations

Serve as a strategist to clients, ensuring that all plans, programs, and assets align with established brand strategy

Provide guidance to the creative team based on the creative brief, brand strategy, best practices, and knowledge of the client and their industry

Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of clients’ businesses, including their key issues and competitive situation

Support the development of brand rollout plans

Support new business development efforts on an as-needed basis, particularly in pitch development

Manage and mentor Senior Writer and Writer roles

REQUIREMENTS

7+ years experience in strategy/communications preferred, involving work in a team dynamic and communicating and interfacing directly with clients. OVERVIEW

The Vice President - Digital is responsible for the vision, growth and management of the Digital Team at Pivot Design across all offices. Responsibilities extend to providing strategic and creative guidance on digital and technology projects and processes across the agency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will oversee creative, planning, operations and resourcing for the digital team, which includes front-end development, back-end development, digital strategy, product management and technology management.

  • Consulting with our clients and internal client teams on digital transformation and technology strategy for our clients.

  • You will strategically guide digital work on our most critical and high-profile clients, building relationships with those clients and ensuring that Pivot Design’s deliverable connects effectively across development, user experience, design, content, strategy and creative as required.

  • Manage and mentor the next level of leadership within the technology practice.

  • You will lead internal digital and technology initiatives such as our agency website, and champion projects identified by agency leadership.

  • Support and define standards and processes for digital work across the agency.

  • Identify opportunities for innovation and drive technical experimentation within the agency.

  • Participate in new-business development, including opportunity identification, RFP responses, pitching, proposal creation, estimating of hours and staff effort, SOW creation, and project planning

  • Play an advisory role at the agency in the vetting and selection of new business technology and tools.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 15+ years in digital creative development, technology consulting and digital transformation.

  • Demonstrated success in managing and mentoring teams, with 10+ years in a supervisory role

  • Computer science degree preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience in marketing technologies, including digital experience management, CMS, CRM, marketing automation and related platforms and tools.

  • Track record of driving innovation and adopting emerging technology.

Our fast-paced branding agency is looking for a medical writer who can deliver exceptional results for clients.

OVERVIEW

We need someone who can create accurate and persuasive language that promotes unique benefits and attributes for our clients and their projects while maintaining their brand identity and marketing strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The ideal writer will be able to develop medical copy and assist with creative concepts across various mediums, including brand, print sales and marketing material, advertising, direct mail/direct response, email marketing, websites, and more. Core responsibilities will also include creating references and handling submission for medical/regulatory/legal review.  You’ll need to work closely with the Account Managers, Creative Team Leads and designers while maintaining an active presence in meetings and client conferences. You’ll need to deliver clear, concise copy on time based on established dates and project plans. You’ll need to be highly adaptable, learning multiple clients’ style guides for writing, editing, and proofreading of materials. You’ll also need to proofread and edit marketing materials for clarity, style consistency, spelling, and grammar – even if, and especially if, you didn’t write it. As the senior point of contact for our agency’s clients, this role coordinates the resources needed to service projects, builds strategic operational plans, and balances the expectations of clients with the execution of creative work. We’re looking for a Motion Designer/Editor who'll be responsible for helping create amazing motion pieces for clients like the examples on our website. Involvement is critical in all phases of the design process, including concept development, storyboarding, animation, graphic design, and complete video production. Works created span a variety of mediums and types including corporate sales and brand videos, web video and motion graphics elements, and HD video post-production. BS/BA degree in design preferred with a minimum of five years experience in a digital/production environment, or the equivalent combination of work experience and education.
