Center for Talent Development Brand Program

Project Overview

The Center for Talent Development (CTD) at Northwestern University is dedicated to helping gifted children, age 4 through grade 12, reach their full potential through research-based assessments, programs and resources that enhance a child’s school education. Utilizing their signature approach to talent development, CTD delivers personalized options and guidance for young people with high ability. Program pathways intersect and connect to lead students on a journey of intellectual, emotional and social growth that they can tailor to fit each student’s interests.

Working closely with CTD administration, we utilized our proprietary Brand Vision™ process to develop a creative brand strategy and an integrated marketing communications program for CTD and its five programs — NUMATS, Summer, Weekend Enrichment, Gifted LearningLinks, and Civic Education.

This dynamic brand captures the youthful energy of the programming, while maintaining a friendly tone that is welcoming to both students and parents. The bold color palette and full-color lifestyle imagery expresses CTD’s contemporary approach to learning, while clearly color-coding the five programs and their offerings.
