Glassia Logo & Identity

Project Overview

Baxter’s Glassia is the only ready-to-use liquid alpha1-proteinase inhibitor (A1-PI) indicated for chronic augmentation and maintenance therapy in individuals with emphysema due to congenital deficiency of alpha1-proteinase inhibitor, also known as alpha-1 antitrypsin (AAT) deficiency.

The single most important marketing aspect of this therapy is the fact that it is the only ready-to-use liquid option in the marketplace. As such, our logo and identity program captured this through repetition of a liquid droplet carried through custom letterforms. Identical droplet forms are overlapped to create the tittle (the dot on the lowercase ‘i’) and are also subtly hidden within the counters (the negative spaces on the insides) of the lowercase ‘a’s.

In the client’s words
If you’re considering hiring an agency, do yourself a favor and at least reach out to Pivot Design. You’ll be glad you did. Every once in a while you find a special group of people that just come together and do amazing things. This is that group. I know it sounds cliché, but they just get it. Our business is complex. It’s high-profile, proprietary and very time sensitive. Top down, Pivot over delivers on the ask at every turn. Their relationship with us spans more than a decade now and the reasons are all very simple: outstanding work, amazing service and great cultural fit.
