Igi V. Therapeutic Playkit for Children with PI

Project Overview

Winner of the 2012 Global Award for Communication to the Consumer and Social Commitment, this one-of-a-kind therapeutic play kit helps children with primary immunodeficiency learn to cope with the medical environment through therapeutic play.

The kit centers around Igi V., the Therapeutic Play Doll character we created. The kit also contains a storybook for children, a guide for parents, real medical equipment, and Igi’s Medical Records Activity Journal in a convenient bag for easy travel.

The overall approach is bright, fun and informational. The effort centered around getting kids engaged in the monitoring and treatment of their illness in a dynamic new way.

In the client’s words
If you’re considering hiring an agency, do yourself a favor and at least reach out to Pivot Design. You’ll be glad you did. Every once in a while you find a special group of people that just come together and do amazing things. This is that group. I know it sounds cliché, but they just get it. Our business is complex. It’s high-profile, proprietary and very time sensitive. Top down, Pivot over delivers on the ask at every turn. Their relationship with us spans more than a decade now and the reasons are all very simple: outstanding work, amazing service and great cultural fit.
