As the the largest privately held international distributor of plastic resin, M. Holland had built a great story dating back nearly 70 years. But with continued expansion planned over the years ahead, they wanted to ensure their brand reflected the global stature and employee culture that make the company unique in their industry.
Pivot partnered with M. Holland leaders to create an evolved brand system with these goals in mind. We began by creating a mantra, “We take plastics personally,” that communicates the company’s core asset: the dedicated industry experts who thrive on strong relationships with customers and suppliers. A robust and compelling verbal identity grew from this core concept.
We then built an evolved visual identity to complement our mantra, with elements ranging from a modernized logo and more vibrant color system to a new image library that captured the personality and spirit of M. Holland’s people.
Launched at the company’s annual conference, the new brand system now positions M. Holland for many more decades of growth, value creation, and meaningful employee experiences—all of which they take personally.
