Shortly after starting a website for leading commercial builder, Skender, they let us in on a secret: they were restructuring their business, on a scale unprecedented in the firm’s 60-year history. Skender would become vertically integrated, seamlessly connecting its award-winning construction team with a newly acquired design studio and an advanced manufacturing offering. The model would break ground for the industry. The Skender brand needed to as well.
Our project promptly expanded. Pivot partnered with Skender executive and marketing teams to shape their new positioning strategy and brand to express it. A reimagined brand architecture confidently reduced “Skender Construction” to “Skender” and simplified the handling of service offerings. A modern recasting of the Skender “S” anchored the bold new corporate identity along with dramatic typography, color, and photography. A comprehensive brand relaunch followed—including, of course, that new website.
Our rebranding required an extraordinary volume of work synchronized to a detailed launch plan. Pivot was the ideal strategic partner. The massive undertaking was a true collaboration and Pivot delivered a meticulous, clutch performance.

Wipfli is a top 20 accounting and consulting firm, with more than 60,000 mid-market clients in 25 industries, and over 2,000 associates across 51 offices in the U.S. and India. New opportunities—fueled by increasing market demand, mergers and acquisitions, and digital transformation—called for a new brand to define and unify the growing Wipfli offering.
Pivot helped Wipfli reposition its brand and align its portfolio of industries and services under an umbrella strategy, narrative, and visual expression. A series of discovery workshops illuminated the opportunity to anchor the brand strategy around the spirit of Wipfli people–their relentless curiosity, the relationships they develop, and their drive for results. This focus inspired the Wipfli anthem, We the Curious.
