A Summer of Connection. The SOUL of Pivot.

Another summer has flown by, and wow, was it a busy one! Teams across Pivot found time to come together and celebrate each other, collective wins, and of course, strengthen the SOUL that ties us together. 

In June, Pivot held our annual Pride Month Happy Hour, complete with everything from a ‘Guess the Gay Icon’ Bingo hosted by the fabulous Mini Pearl Necklace to friendship bracelet-making. It was a joyful afternoon of celebration and connection—we’re already looking forward to next year!

Our Creative Directors immersed themselves in an interactive experience at Theater of the Mind, an immersive exploration of perception, memory, and identity that challenged them to question assumptions and experience the world from new perspectives. That curiosity and openness are central to Pivot SOUL, helping us to lead with Empathy, pursue ideas with Courage, uncover authentic truths, and bring Clarity to the complex.

Our Account, Strategy, and Growth teams braved the summer heat for a Cubs game at Wrigley Field. Bringing our SOUL to Wrigley Field, our teams got to strengthen relationships and team spirit that make our cross-functional collaboration thrive, while celebrating a city that has been part of Pivot’s story since the beginning. Our Project Management team enjoyed Chicago from a different perspective, taking to Lake Michigan to unwind, connect, and soak in the city we call home.

Our creatives put their problem-solving skills to the test in an escape room, drawing on curiosity, courage, and collaboration to think beyond the obvious and find their way out together. While they worked through the escape rooms, our Operations team brought the same care and creativity that keep Pivot moving to a rooftop evening of dinner and crafting, creating space to connect, recharge, and share the heart that keeps Pivot SOUL alive.

We also continued one of our favorite traditions: wellness walks! During the week, these excursions give us the opportunity to recharge and soak up the Chicago summer sun. 

We also hosted our second-ever VIP Day, where we welcomed friends and family of Pivot employees into the office to get a behind-the-scenes look at the work we do. Between a creative challenge (with some fierce competition!), office tour, and a lot of laughs, it was a highlight of the summer.

These moments took place outside our everyday work, but they are central to the SOUL of Pivot. By creating space to connect, explore, laugh, and recharge together, we deepen the trust and collaboration that fuel everything we do. It’s how we bring Authenticity, Empathy, Clarity, and Courage to life: not only for our clients, but for one another. That’s the SOUL of Pivot.
