Living with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) presents complex daily hurdles, often leaving patients feeling lost and alone. Takeda recognized this need to meet patients where they are, and Pivot saw an opportunity to enhance their key patient resource, Living with IBD. First and foremost, we learned that the platform needed to better serve people across their unique IBD journeys, whether navigating Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis. But beyond that, the website held potential to spotlight the lived experience through real patient stories. 

We helped transform Living with IBD, establishing clear disease state education hubs for Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis information alongside a prominent “Community” section dedicated to “Real people, real stories.” This revitalized approach blends clinical knowledge with peer insights to empower patients to navigate their condition more confidently.
