The Executives’ Club of Chicago is a business forum for thought leadership, professional development, and best business practices. Founded in 1911, The Club is one of the nation’s oldest and most prestigious business organizations.
In 2011, The Club observes its Centennial, celebrating 100 years of The Club’s Global Thinkers and Doers. The Centennial is marked by a variety of programs and marketing/communications initiatives. These include four Centennial Summits addressing women’s leadership, technology leadership, new leaders, and U.S.-India trade and investment relations.
Working closely with Club leadership, we used our proprietary Brand Vision™ process to develop a centennial brand program. The centennial logo is a stylized flame — with a hidden silhouette of Chicago’s iconic Willis Tower — that draws inspiration from variations of the Club’s earliest logos. The brand captures the upward mobility of the economy, Chicago’s vertical skyline and the Club’s global trajectory.
The centennial brand was so successful and well-liked that the Club has since adopted it as the primary brand moving forward.
